Capturing the personality of a farm with charm

The Funny Farm is an idyllic visitor farm – a bit out of the ordinary – by the Hobøl river in Indre Østfold, Norway. Owners Pernille and Pål have lived on and operated the farm since 2015 with the vision of providing people with a unique farm experience. Pernille and Pål loves Nashville, the 50s, and country music, and the Funny Farm is clearly influenced by it. The café is decorated like a 50s American diner, and the buildings where both animals and people live are as colorful as Pernille and Pål's personalities. If Pippi Longstocking and Elvis were to decorate a farm, the result would be The Funny Farm.

We – as neighbors of this gem – had the honor of capturing this unique personality in the form of video, photography, website design, and written content. A colorful and fun experience, with mischievous goats, curious emus, and grunting mini-pigs up close and personal with the camera lens. It’s a miracle the equipment survived.
